Chika is the Chief Risk Officer at Munich Re Specialty Group, where she pays a key leadership role, overseeing risk management across the group’s global operations, including the Munich Re syndicate at Lloyds. Before taking on her current role, Chika spent nearly 15 years at Aviva, holding several senior positions, including Group Enterprise Risk Director, General Insurance Director for Group Actuarial and Head of General Insurance Reserving.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a passion for risk strategy, operational resilience, and building sustainable ‘future-fit’ risk frameworks. Beyond her technical expertise, Chika is a leading advocate for diversity and inclusion within the actuarial and insurance communities. She chairs the Diversity Action Group at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and was a driving force behind the launch of the UK Black Actuaries Network.
