James Dyson, Director and Head of Broking at Channing Lucas and Partners
James is currently Head of Broking and the de-facto CEO at Channing Lucas and Partners. They are a London market marine brokers, founded in 2007, where he has been for more than 22 years.
At 16, James began his insurance career, doing work experience at Tysers where he was initially the tea boy but, after demonstrating a strong work ethic and positive attitude, he was offered a permanent role within the marine division. After 5 years, he moved to Channing Lucas, joining in the inaugural year, and has consistently risen through the ranks. James is now an essential part of the business’ strategic growth plan and a member of its executive board.
He may not yet be 40, but he has come a long way since his tea making days, and no doubt will accomplish even more as he continues throughout his career.
