As a Senior Associate at Damhurst, Matthew combines his deep commitment to clients with a sharp eye for market trends, making sure they get the best possible solutions.
After he completed his History degree at the London School of Economics, he spent time travelling and working for a charity before beginning his recruitment career at an insurance boutique; fulfilling talent mandates across Finance, Claims and Operations, primarily across Lloyd’s and London Market clients.
After several years as a successful private tutor, he took a brief career sidestep to found and build a tuition business before resuming his insurance recruitment career in the Executive Search space with Damhurst.
He can be best described as determined, strategic, and efficient, taking a holistic and considered approach to every project.
On a personal level...
Outside of Damhurst, Matthew is a culture vulture, spending his free time learning foreign languages, enjoying live music with friends, and indulging in literature. An Economics enthusiast, he keeps a keen watch on the markets, whichever way the trade winds blow.
